When I told the wife I wanted to post my defense, she said, "you better be careful. This posting a picture may come back & bite you in the behind."

I could never have imagined & cannot now.

Somehow, I feel this Topic should live on through the holidays.

So, Merry Christmas, LT. A very Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Hm. Why would I think LT might not welcome that? ;-) He graciously let me live down that "Team Glock" patch.

Maybe we should all just gather 'round LT's small, virtual Christmas Tree from time to time this season and give thanks for the meaning of Christmas.

The season has become too "politically correct." Even school districts are outlawing the term "Christmas" because it doesn't encompass all religions present in America.

Personally, I'm honored that all religious faiths are tolerated in these United States. My surname forefather arrived here from Wales about 1690, and he was a Quaker emmigrant. He and his family came here seeking religious freedom.

My neighbor is Muslim. I've known him for five years, and have shuttled his kids around when I had time and he didn't. He has a Christmas Nativity scene on his front yard. He greets me with, "Merry Christmas!" He has chosen to live in the United States and has embraced that decision. But he is still Muslim: the duality of his lawn display doesn't trouble me...or him.

My boss is Jewish. His all-of-us-invited Christmas party is tomorrow evening. He will have a traditional Christmas Tree in his house. And a traditional Christmas dinner (actually, the menu looks more like Thanksgiving, but that's okay).

Christmaskahanakwanza-whatever is a mistake. It's divisive, not uniting.

We are Americans. We are Texans.

Merry Christmas!

Well said sir. You are all invited to gather around the tree all through the season to remember the birth of our Savior.

All are invited to gather there for fun & frolic at the season of joy to the world.

I wondered who had that Team GaGaGaalok Imblem. (still cant seem to get tat word out).

Yes, your right, there are many Muslims & Jews living here & all over the world that are Christians. Many of them here in our country have accepted our traditions and the American way of life. We need to remember that all the apples in a barrel are not necessarily rotten. Glad you have a good relationship with your neighbors.even though they are Muslims. Merry Christmas to you.
