Back in the late 70's we always thought it was a fun weekend trip to go across the border and party. I can't imagine doing that now. Not unless one has a death wish.

Utah couple shot execution style by police or people looking like they were police or just by armed men, when they stopped at a checkpoint or didnt stop at a checkpoint (since if they didn't stop at the checkpoint they would still be driving away) They also tried to kill their 12 year old son, but he survived from his gunshot to the head, which is why we know something about this. After they were shot the police or armed men took their car and drove away.

Apparently bad things also happen after midnight in Mexico as well.

Apparently, the couple chose to ignore the State Department Security Alert for Acapulco:

State Dept. has red zoned Acapulco, recommending that no U.S. citizen travels to there or the entire state of Guerrero on the Pacific coast of Mexico.

My son in law and daughter just got back from a cruise to Coz. I wasn’t that worried, he’s Hispanic and bilingually fluent. But, I was concerned. I told them to stick to the touristy places.

Good advice! We are taking a cruise this Saturday out of Galveston with 2 stops in Mexico. Cozumel & Progresso. I'm not concerned about that at all.

Bar attack kills 23.

Won't make the M S news as a molotov cocktail was used.

Maybe Mexico should ban gasoline.

9 members of a Morman family visiting Mexico for a wedding are murdered including the children and babies.

All Americans.

Mitt your on the wrong side. You either need to resign or join the president. If I lived in Utah I would be working to get your Democrat Recalled.

I would make a terrible President, but it time to send the army in and take over the country. This is close to home, these are Americans.
