Austin received my new application packet Oct. 3ed.
41 days later no update to my status. After looking at post from years back it looks like summer is the best time to apply or renew.

I was finger printed on October 8, and submitted the check list, CHL-100, and DD 214 through first class mail to DPS on October 9.
Still no updates as of today.

Wohooo! I sent in my application via online on October 2, 2013 and I finally got my first update as of 11/13/2013. Now my status went straight to manufacturer pending
Now I can have peace of mind that they have received my required documents.

Great news, Blitz! I sent mine Priority Mail & they got it Oct 4, so maybe I'll hear something by mid-next week, that is if the moon & sun, stars & planets all line up correctly!

I am 1 day behind you and same. Not a word from DPS on if they have it or not. I mailed and uploaded the documents.

I sent mine in registered mail and it was signed for on October 2, 2013. It was just scanned in as received today!!

TxDadof8, I hope you get an update soon. I checked my status today and it went from manufacture pending yesterday to mailed so I assume they already mailed my license

Glad to hear yours is on it's way. That means ours should be close behind - hopefully. Maybe even as soon as next week.

Did my renewal on Oct 4. Status updated to mailed on Nov 11. Got it in the mail Today.
So I guess that's about 5 weeks total. Much faster than last time!!!
