Terry Holcomb - Police Officers and police organizations have been waving a red flag since 1995 with the original CHL Bill, that there would be blood in the streets, and again in 2015 with open carry. There is absolutely no data showing this, they have been wrong on those two instances, and they are/will be wrong here. Stick to actual data.
Good point.

Cripes, he said they have over NINETY people waiting to testify. Half of them will probably be Moms reading the same text. In any case, I can't watch the whole thing.

So far most of the "moms" have sent in their opinion that they oppose, but haven't wanted to testify.

I wish we could recognize that the extremist argument in the gun rights equation is the argument for gun control. Despite the occasional and noisy nutty protestor, the genuine tinfoil hattery is practiced by demanding moms and other antis.

Enacting any kind of restriction on any civil right should be done only with great care and overwhelming justification.

And why can't we recognize the danger of a government that restricts us at whim? I'll take the imagined risk of armed, law abiding strangers all day over the risk of a government at liberty to pick and choose my liberties.

"Mom" for gun "sense" says plenty of states have research showing that strict gun law states have fewer gun deaths. Glad she has no actual sources to promote this claim.

And Hijinosa and this "mom" are now discussing how criminals get guns, definitely sounds like they orchestrated this beforehand.

How are guns "registered" in this state? I'm confused.

I was going over my copy of the US Constitution and could not find that in there.

It's in the Communist Manifesto.

Kory Watkins up in a moment. That will be about as much as I can take. I'm sure I'll be able to shut off the live stream then.

He just used the old 2nd amendment line. You can't restrict something we have a constitutional right to do, etc.

One erroneous claim that being frequently made is that it removes the background check as a safety measure. It doesn't. You still need an FBI background check to buy your gun in the first place.
