The one thing that has me concerned - not worried - is the self-proclaimed pro-gun guys that plan to show up in anti-NRA t-shirts to protest the NRA leadership at the NRA event. In my view, this does not solve any grievances and only serves to strengthen the enemy. Thoughts?
“A house divided against itself cannot stand”

The progressive socialists do, for the most part, stand together to achieve their agenda. Everyone else dedicates much time and effort to fighting amongst their allies and friends. That’s why our side consistently suffers further infringement of our rights.
This is very, very true. I suspect they get their talking points from somewhere. My wife is a staunch liberal and it is funny sometimes. I will bring up something that happened and if it's the first she has heard of it, she is very reserved in her comments. Then the next day she will be adamant about some perceived injustice aspect. I firmly believe that there is some type of hotline she calls to get the "company line".

In any respect, they definitely know how to get all their troops in line. That makes them a formidable foe.

WHOOOHOOOOO, got mine today also.

Since I am a "Country Mouse" from down near Fort Hood and have not spent much time in Dallas since 1973 (yes that is correct), about how far is the downtown DART station on the Green Line away from the KBH Convention Center? Think it is the West End Station or the one just beyond. Wife and I don't mind a 6-8 block walk, but don't want a mile or so Will be staying at a hotel in Lewisville and getting on Dart in Carrollton.

Looks like you'd get off at West End and take blue/red line straight to the convention center.

I'm looking at it the train schedule... Sheesh. Seems complicated. So I have to take the DCTA train to some green train to a blue train to get to the convention center?? I'll have to memorize the timing and the station names too. You know what, maybe I'll just order a Lyft after all.

I just downloaded the "GoPass" app so I can figure out the train schedule(s) and even pay for my ticket with my phone. No more holding onto that paper ticket.

I'm still totally :confused5... I'm clearly not a public transport guy.

Hey, anyone want to meet up at one of the DCTA stations on the morning of 5/4? That way, we can get completely lost together. Who knows. Maybe by the end of the day we'd end up in Brownsville.

Please let me know what you think of the app.

My grandson and I are attending. I think we'll just drive to Rowlett and take the blue line in.

Planning the DART route is pretty easy. Just go to http://www.dart.org/.

On the right side of the page, you'll see "GOOGLE TRANSIT". Just fill in whatever station you're going to get on and put "Dallas Convention Center" for "END". Fill in the date and time you're going to start and click "PLAN IT".

You'll be rewarded with a Google map with a stop-by-stop itinerary on the left side. :tiphat:

I live in North Dallas near High5 / Medical City.

If anyone coming in wants to meet at my house, we can carpool or Uber in together.

Just PM me.

Got badges too. I am ready. Not sure if my family will tag along at lease on Sat.
High anticipation, very little planning what to visit first, etc.
