I feel like a little kid waiting for my Captn Crunch seccret decoder ring, everyday since saturday running out to the mailbox and nothing, all the other mail just goes flying into the air. Now that I think about it, that might be why my water is off. One of those other pieces of mail might have been the water bill. I think I'll spend my time waiting for the mailman today picking up all that mail thats laying out in the street.

Either A) our complaining is paying off, B) the extra staff is really kicking into high gear, or C) pigs have learned to fly [personal choice] because it seems a bunch of us February folks are getting ours - finally. I got the "application complete" note on Monday (or was it Sunday that I checked???) via the DPS website. Lost track of the days...gave up counting, actually.

GOOD NEWS!!!!!,
I finally got an application completed two days shy of my 25th birfday....that is the best birthday gift. Now I have to wait on my NFA paperwork...maybe the federal government is a little quicker than Texas legislation.
