Academy at Market and I10 has Monarch .380 FMJ for $13.99 limit 2. That's about all they have (or had, I was there at 9AM), but it's one of the rarer ones.

As of yesterday, Cabela's in Buda had a good bit of Buffalo Bore (and other brands) of ammo in .38 Spl +P, .357, .40, .44 mag, and a few others. I even found a few boxed of .44 SPL. No .380 or .45 ACP, though.

.380ACP "canned heat" is available at georgia arms for .31/round. Still high but cheaper than WWB at academy when the moon and planets are aligned just right and you find it.

Just got back from Academy in Cedar Park. About 20 500 rd boxes of 22LR Winchester Wildcat and Remmington $16.90. About 20 250rd UMC 9mm mega packs $59.90. No 380acp or 40cal. Bought some 22LR 4 boxes which was what I was after. There were only 5 cars in the parking lot...all at the gun counter. I was there at 8:05am.

If you want to pay the price Bachman Gun had a pretty good selection at 3:00pm today, including .380. I picked up 2 boxes of 50 rounds of Speer Lawman FMJ for $39.95 a box. I didn't want to pay that much, but I needed the ammo, also. Bachman Gun is on Northwest Highway at Webb's Chapel Road in Dallas.

Walmart at Kirkwood & Westheimer in Houston has a bunch of 40 Brazer Brass. $12.47
WMBB.jpg
They also have 1 box of 44 magnum, some 50 round boxes of 22 (no bulk pack) and a variety of rifle ammo. The smaller stack above the 40 is 30-30.
I also see lots of shotgun ammo everywhere. One walmart employee said the bird hunters didn't buy much this year.
