Facts are facts. This is a fact.

Getting the media to help spread the FACTS would be nice. I'm not holding my breath.

Facts/Sunlight will be the antiseptic that kills the Obama parasitic infection.

:iagree: , too. Since I'm one of those Gen-X "slackers", I've figured for a long time that I'll never see any Social Security money when I'm old, that I'll have to keep working until the day I croak...but its much preferable for it to taper down then be shut off overnight.

I have no love for Romney but the country can't take 4 more years of this! If Obama actually did some good on job creation and I don't mean those $10 an hour jobs for all the college grads and laid off 40 something’s then he would get my vote! But he didn't do that! He went off on his social agenda and left us holding the bill. Jobs, real livable wages, that's what I want to here about. I want results not another chart by David Axelrod showing the 1% drop in unemployment (there all low wage jobs anyways).

Romney/Ryan If I could vote right now I would! Its better then the indifference of doing nothing for four more years!

This is a cold, hard truth that many in this country don't want to face. We're already seeing it with some the weaker countries in Europe. Yet despite these canaries in the coal mine, so many want to explain it away. There is nothing that says this country is "too big to fail."

Paul Ryan will eat both Biden and Obama for lunch with room left over for all the other idiots on both sides of the aisle that continue to ignore the facts.... Entitlement reform or otherwise.

Once you find your head swimming from the numbers, skip to 4:30 for the summary.

And here's the perfect contrast.... The chairwoman of the DNC vs. Paul Ryan.
Which one is the adult.??

Here's a worthwhile read from KT McFarland...
Romney's brilliant foreign policy choice
Romney’s choice of Ryan signals that he is willing to level with the American people about the seriousness of the problems we face. Their blueprint for solving them will be hard on all of us, but the shared sacrifices of today will restore our economic vitality for the next generation. That, in turn, will be the greater guarantor that our nation remain secure, and we resume our role as the world’s leading superpower.

Here's a video of Erskine Bowles praising the "Ryan Budget" and criticizing (rolling his eyes at, would be a better description) Obama's budget last year, Sept 2011.

In case you don't know, Bowles is a leading Democrat, and was chairman of Obamas commission on fiscal responsibility and budget reform (Simpson/Bowles).

Net/Net? This video is a spear in the heart of anyone that would call Ryan "extreme".

The first 5 minutes of this video ..... If Romney/Ryan can get this message out, WE win.
And at 6:30... "If you want to be good at these jobs (Congress) you have to be willing to lose these jobs"

Paul Ryan wrote:"We have to have an affirming election. That's why we're putting these ideas out there."
Ryan is not only a genius, he is so obviously morally upright that it is hard to imagine how the "loyal" opposition could be so corrupt as to run the ads that they run. "Affirmative election." What a great and overdue idea. Whateve one might think about Ronald Reagan in retrospect, he also ran an "affirmative" campaign. They called him "The Great Communicator" for a reason. Ryan is doing the best job I've seen since Reagan of communicating the absolute soundness of conservative economic policy, with the same sunny optimism....and as he said, when the economy is on shaky ground, those who are dependent on government charity are the first to be hurt.

I am not hoping that Debbie Wasserman Schultz have a stroke or something, but if she were suddenly struck dumb it couldn't do anything but help the country. She is a bald faced liar. I loved how Ryan's response at one point was to smile and roll his eyes because she was being so transparently and monumentally STUPID.

........... is proof that the Democratic strategy is to state what they want you to believe, state it loudly and repeatedly in small sound bites intended to solicit empathy for the speaker's cause and/or anger towards the opposition, and do so regardless of the truth or any inconvenient contradictory facts. And if you get caught in a position unsupported by facts, change the subject and try again.

The Democratic "plan" is still nothing more than an empty vision. A moral, ideological, nanny-state goal. A vision where everyone gets whet they "deserve", not what they "earn". To move from here to Obama-Schultz-land is economically un-achievable, even if it were desirable, which it is not.

Where is Obamas budget? Voted down 97 to 0 by the Senate.

My word... This video is the first I've really seen of Paul Ryan. I've heard that he had a good budget and that he's well-liked among the Tea Party, but I haven't personally heard him say anything of substance until now (because I haven't bothered to pay attention).

In every election that I can clearly recall, I've voted for the P/VP that I thought would do the least harm — voting for the lesser of two evils. If my opinion of Paul Ryan isn't tarnished by what all I learn between now and November, this may be the first election in which I cast my vote for someone (even if it's just the VP part) because I actually want them in power. I might even dare to have sporadic fits of optimism.

Actually, they might be frequent fits... Romney knows how to cut costs and restore profitability to failing businesses, and Ryan knows how to make a government budget that promotes growth... They could be the economic Dream Team for this country (wouldn't that be great... they could end their ads with a clip of Bill Clinton saying "It's the economy, stupid").

The segment of the populace that wants smaller government and a growing economy at the same time might not be 51% of the voters.
