Whatchya got?
.223 55 GR FMJ - $0.69/round I have 1000 rounds in bulk, would like to keep some of it just in case i need it.

.223 55gr
I don't think I've ever bought that stuff before. Is that the normal price for that? I think I may have seen some last year for around that price. I was hoping for something closer to the .40-.55/round price. I know, I know. Don't laugh too hard.

I'm shutting down and calling it a night. I'll have to look see what I already have tomorrow and let you know. If it's not too much trouble it probably couldn't hurt to bring it with you Saturday. Even if I don't get any, there might be someone else that will that might miss your post.

If I can make a suggestion that we do shotgun after lunch as we have before.
I'd love to shoot some skeet with you again at the meet n greet. Since the last event, I acquired a new Citori for my birthday that I've shot a few times. These are good events to put faces with fake-names.

However I won't be able to make it this weekend. I'm training for a century ride next month and we are logging about 80 miles on Saturday. It's going to be a long day in the saddle.

I expect to see a summary report of the days activities so I know what I missed. Have a great shoot. :anamatedbanana

I can make "the face", if that will help.
But "the face" is no longer your avatar.
True, but Puma has seen it in person... and lived! :eek6

I've seen it too, but it's been a while. I hope it hasn't changed too much.

Anybody have a bullet puller for a .357 cartridge they could bring to the get together?

It's a wooded area, so he doesn't want any fires without someone in attendance; I'm sure we can manage that.

He said that he's probably going to put us on Pistol Bay 9 or 10, so I've marked that with a big red X - I'd suggest that we gather there
Sounds like a good plan to me.

I am unfortunately not going to be able to attend the gathering :grumble

Y'all have a great time and hopefully it will work out for me on the next one...and yes Pawpaw, I too was looking forward to "the face"

Mama Kat and I had a wonderful time meeting all the folks up here. Great folks, great food and great shooting. Thanks TBM for ram rodding this great event. As always the time goes by too fast and you wonder if you met and talked to everyone. I know I surely missed some of you; if so hope we see you next time. Lastly kudos to Elm Fork for their facility and hospitality. :thumbs2:

It was a fun day. I didn't shoot as much as I thought I was going to and that is fine. My daughter, H-dub, got to shoot her M&P15-22 rifle and she did well. TBM's two kids also got to shoot it and liked it. I may have cost them a little more money. Oops! ;-)

Baldeagle was right, we did have more food than we needed. It was all good, well, all that I could put in. I couldn't try everything.

Skeet with AndyC was very cool. Thank you Andy. That was only the second time I've tried skeet and your advice helped me a little more. The first time was with The Marshal and I don't think I hit but maybe 10 if that many. The first round today was 12. After you guys left I did two more rounds changing my choke from a #2 to a #4 and I think I hit a couple more and might have got 14-15. I changed the choke again to a #5 skeet choke and got somewhere in the 18-20 area and even hit the high one from the #8 spot. I'm ready for you now Marshal! :fire

BTW, did either of you guys that shot skeet today leave a bag at the range under the shotgun rack?

Thank you TBM and RX8 and everyone else that came.

Cdub,
Yeah I left a white bag with a box of 12ga Winshester under the gun rack. That's what happens when you get older than dirt like me. :banghead:
