It is odd that when I go to check my status on the laptop the website still shows under maintenance but when I check on my phone it lets me check on the status.

Either way.......after sitting in BG: under review since June 22nd, I just saw I am in the same boat as you....BG: complete, CHL manufacturing pending!!!!!!

So you were in BG under review for 22 days, right? I've been stuck in BG under review for 13 days now. I do have an arrest in my reported history, which I assume is the cause of the delay as most people on here are reporting that the BG check is getting done in a matter of days. Did you have any reported history that would explain why it took 22 days?

None whatsoever. I have one speeding ticket and nothing else. I've even had 2 federal background checks in the last 6 years due to my job too. I've lived at the same address for 5 years and in the same small town (population 1200) for 12 years.

Hang in there, it does take a while... I know it is a long time, after this hurdle one more, when it says mailed... WHERE IS THE MAIL MAN!! lol

I took my CHL class on 6/22. Did my fingerprints on 6/28. Mailed the required paperwork to DPS on that same day (went inside the post office, but sent via First Class). Today (7/16), after returning from Baltimore, my status has been updated!!! Manufacturing Pending!

Just like others here, I had absolutely no change or any acknowledgment that DPS received my docs until they were manufacturing my license. I was checking WAY TOO MANY TIMES per day. I even checked a couple of times before I got on the plane. (I know, sad.)

I am happy that its finally progressing to where I can see it. And, to those who are still waiting...Keep your head up; it's on it's way.

I still waiting since Saturday morning that it showed MAILED!
Hopefully TODAY arrive in the mail!

24 June- Packet Mailed
25 June- Fingerprints Completed
27 June- Packet Delivered and Signed for in Austin
13 July- First Status Update on Website to "Background Check: Under Review"
16 July- Status Update to "Manufacture Pending"
17 July- Status Update to "Mailed"

Well, I checked today and the status says that IT. IS. ON. IT'S. WAY!!!!
