The more important question to me is:

It is legal for a drone to shoot us?

(And the obvious follow up: Does the President care?)

:mrgreen:

I've gotten some pretty impressive results from video taken from a shaky platform by aligning all the frames that contained what I wanted, then letting the software make a still from it. 30 seconds of video from a security camera on a wind-blown pole gave a partial plate number on a car that wasn't even recognizable in any single frame.

Take pictures, report it, spray water, learn to use a boomerang / lasso / Batman-esque grappling hook, become a falconer, whatever you have to do. . .
You are a reasonable man, sir! :tiphat:

Way out here in the country where I live, if I were to see a drone overhead, within my property lines, I'd be inclined to try lasso it if it were low enough. But as much as I'd like to think I'd go-into the house and get my shotgun and blow it out of the sky, I'd probably instead grab my smartphone which is always on my hip and take a video of the thing. Might be good to have some day!

Or you could have your wife take your smartphone and video you getting your shotgun and blow it out of the sky. Something to show the grandkids. :lol:

Wife called.. we had one over the house today. Close enough to be heard indoors. I assume it was related to property surveys or sale videos.. I told her to shoot it, but no luck.. :-)

What about a compressed-air powered net launcher?

Can you shoot one at a helicopter? If not, then...no.

That means you have a good chance to have your picture taken shooting the thing out of the sky and a minute later you are on YouTube.
Otherwise I agree, it is a privacy violation.
As soon as I saw it then that would become my profile picture :cool:

I have to wonder what one of these would do to one. http://www.lucklaser.com/445nm-1w2w-ult ... aQodkZ8Aww" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I just figure if I see a drone in a place I would generally consider private, I can just strip. Maybe scratch myself.

Mount a camera on the shotgun to get a better view from the projectile's path. It may help for further entertainment. :lol::

I didn't get the shall issue from this. Maybe I need to research further.

Generally when one is required to have a license to posess a gun and show an actual need it is not shall issue.
