My Name? Naw, I wouldn't use it here... would you use yours?ShootDontTalk wrote: I won't have to dale. Your name is already indelibly identified with the issue. A thousand years from now someone will still be able to read all about it.
Bumper stickers? Yes, I believe there are a great many people who actually vote based on a bumper sticker. That is the only reasonable explanation for the current occupant of the WH.
Smart? If I cared whether other so-called "smart" people think I'm "smart" or not, I might think my whole life would disintegrate in shame. I'll leave that particular pleasure to those who really think they're "smart."
On that note. This is getting dangerously close to becoming personal. So adios....
Bumper stickers? I think it takes a lot more than that to elect and re-elect someone to POTUS. I don't agree with the current White House occupant but it's hard to argue with success. And I think his daughters are almost as cute as mine but I like my wife better.
Smart? I suspect we are all constantly judging each other's behavior, i.e. for humor, intelligence, creativity, maturity, etc...
Personal? Naw, I'd have to know you a lot better to get personal. I respond to your comments because they are reasonable and respectful. We just disagree but I'm sure yours is the more popular viewpoint.
My point? Trivial maybe. I'm just suggesting that we do things that are more thoughtful and avoid the mindless, ritualistic stuff.
