Well, as promised, Mrs. Oldgringo and I just had a Whataburger No. 1. It wasn't half bad and a whole lot better than a McDonald's.

Whatever happened to the "flame-kissed" burgers Burger King used to make? Those were delicious. This was back in the late sixties/early seventies. Back in the yearly 70s I remeber have Sonic,Bk and especially WB were fantastic......we didn't have WB out in west TX.....wow when I finally had one. We did have coors though.
