There was an 18 year old boy in my in Senior high school gym class that didn't have any whiskers, pubic hair and sadly his junk was the size of an infant's.

He was hideously embarrassed about this and felt compelled to assure the guys in our gym class that his brothers before him and he would finally develop in his early twenties.

No one ever made fun of him as he was a great guy, but I seriously doubt he ever developed...

Odd thing, he dated some of the most beautiful girls in high school. I think word got out that he was a safe guy for a girl to date...

Then people were allowed to serve as long as they kept their homosexuality hush hush.
Then it was ruled that openly gay soliders were acceptable.
Then women in combat roles (they've been serving with Special Forces in Cultural Support Teams for over ten years.....).
Now transgendered people can openly stay in the service.

At no point in time did any of the aforementioned events really cause any serious harm to the defense of our nation. Whether you agree with an individual's choice or sexual preference, it is what it is. It has been federal law making it illegal to discriminate on sexual preference, ethnicity, gender, etc.

And yes, before anyone berates me for lack of context, I did serve, and also spent time in Afghanistan as a contractor.

Now, this country may very well be headed down the drain, but is has nothing to do with transgenders. In the military or otherwise.
You are not going to convince all of us. You cannot change the truth.
I don't feel the need to convince anyone - you are all entitled to your opinion/mindset/beliefs. I was offering another perspective, my own. And truth is subjective, affected by beliefs and perspective. Hence who so many vehemently argue over what said truth is.

AsI said before, nobody is asking or requiring you to agree with anyone's life choices.
Truth is not subjective. You can't change truth. You cannot wish something true. You cannot make a lie true. No matter how hard you try or how many times you insist a lie is true it will never be true. Lies are always lies.

For the geneticists out there, look up testicular feminization syndrome. These are genetic males with a female phenotype (body) and most are not discovered until they don't have menstrual cycles. Not in any way related to the transgender issue but you are not always the sex that your chromosomes say you are. The birth certificates of all of these "boys" I am sure say female.
I think the entire transgender issue is a distraction from the serious problems in our society. Just another way for the dems to pander to the lgbt community.

I am of the opinion/mindset/belief based on a deeply held inner knowledge...that I am a cat. Transspecies if you will. I am in transition from homo sapiens to feline and am in the process of having surgery to make my ears pointy and nose/facial surgery. This week I am traveling to company HQ in DC to insist that they provide me with a litter box for my "business" and catnip and toys in the break room. :rules:

:iagree:
Subjective truth is not truth. Truth is absolute by definition. Likewise, you can be for the truth or against it. There is no gray area.

If truth is subjective then the recent attacks on LEO in Texas and Loisiana were not murder and those killed by the terrorist in the truck were simply roadkill.

Stating that truth is subjective is one of the most ridiculous statements anyone can make.

Truth based on faith is subjective. Truth based on fact is not. I think you would find the same to be true in a Christian vs Muslim debate. Many of those who identify as transgender I doubt share your faith or your conviction. Hence, both parties think they own the truth.

I never brought i to debate whether gender identification was scientifically factual or if it fit under the realm of a psychological disorder. What I did say, was that the fact that this country is going to hell, really has nothing to do with transgender SJW activities. The foundation was laid hindreds of years ago and in the past 50 or so social indulgence and those obsessed with equality have eroded the American dream.

I did not ask anyone to agree with me, or change their mind. I did offer a different perspective. Why an intelligent respectful conversation has turned into something like this is a shame.

I have a sincerely held belief, based on faith, that I am a cat. It is therefore a fact, not subject to disproof. I am insulted that anyone questions that fact and I believe in using the force of the federal government to require the rest of you to accommodate the fact that I am a cat. The bigots in the military should not be able to keep me out for simply having the pointy ear surgery and mewling instead of grunting or yelling. I am quite capable of fulfilling my duties with minor accommodation of fresh kitty litter for my bathroom.

200,000 US cases. While I think the transgender syndrome is being blown out of proportion and being exploited by some, I also believe there are legitimate cases. This country is plenty strong enough to accommodate the legitimate cases ( I don't think the public needs to pay for them.) I've been hearing the chicken littles say this country is going down the tubes since I am old enough to remember (56 plus years). The Dems thought Regan was the Anti Christ. and we were doomed. We survived Carter, Clinton and BO. We have a lot more let in the tank.

Well I believe you should be able to join the military if you want, just buy your own darn kitty litter.
