Good shooting & we want a range report w/ pics ASAP
LT:

No range report just yet. I have 150 rounds through her (without a hiccup, I might add), but I want to take her out one or two more times, get her broken in, and then fire some test groups from a benchrest to see if I have the tack-driver I wanted, and that I think I got. In the meatime, here are a few pics (and, yeah, the magazines are Wilson; I'm afraid I don't use the Kimber mags):

Here's one showing the Kimber magwell (they used to use Smith & Alexander, but have produced their own custom magwell for some time) and the 30-lpi checkering on the frontstrap and trigger guard.

And this is the test target that came with the pistol showing the 5-shot, 25-yard group. Of course, I'm very concerned about the flyer that went high. Otherwise, it would have been a .75-inch grouping. ;-)

I use Wilson mags too.
That is one fine looking pistol. ;-)

Actually, I like the way Glocks shoot and their reputation for ruggedness and reliability. If just wish they weren't so ugly.
Yea, thats what I like about my Kimber, it shoots good, is Ford tough and
it looks good.

As the Christmas Trees start to come down, I can't resist leaving Longtooth with one parting image. No offense to anyone intended; my BUG is a Glock.

But since I was the instigator of putting Team Glock logos on LT's personal apparel, I wanted to share with him the photo we took of my friend Cheetah and his Christmas gift...

Happy New Year to everyone, and...umgawa!

Man, that chimp is about to get a nasty surprise on his right thumb!!!!

BTW, LT, no worries, I have zero Galoshes, er... Glocks, but I carry JMB! I got your back!

(Well, I have been known to carry a Hi Power, but it's a JMB design, so it counts. )

Oh, Cheetah was just trying to locate the thumb safety. When we explained we got him a Glock because it was simple to operate, that he didn't have to worry about safeties, just point and shoot, he assumed a very respectable thumbs-forward grip.

(Somehow, I can tell I'm gonna hate myself for doing this...)

Skiprr, I thought all along that you had a big hand in that.
Glad you are a convert.
Thanks a bunch Thane. You can cover me any time & it looks like I have needed it a bunch here lately.

I can't believe that this thread is still alive?? Good stuff. I'd not seen the follow up to the cartoon.

It's Christmas at Longtooth's. Until he dispatches his tree to Waste Management, we're hangin' out out his place.

Santa had several things under the tree that were forum related.
The wife received that Baretta PX4 Storm in 9mm. Her stocking was heavy w/ WWB ammo.
I received enough cleaning supplies to attend the GCing needs for a year for everyone that I am responsible for.
This was a good Christmas & the tree was a great part of it.

The tree has been put away for the yr. I carefully & very meticulously took the decorations down myself while the wife did the bubble wrapping & boxing of each one. I can assure all who wonder that there was NO decorations from Austria. (still studder trying to say GaGaggall...)
No range bag either.

In all of this season I did think of one thing that I like about Glocks. ( :hurry: there I finally got it out.) It was a plastic Glock made teddy k (lower case intended) madder than JMB ever did.
Happy New Year & one ragged hole for all shooters.
