Mine arrived on 10-08-10 38 days from mail box to mail box not the fastest not thr slowest.

There were no delays or any issues with my CHL process, Thanks Austin for a quick process

Finally an update background check completed. There is now a light at the end of the tunnel.

mine was “mailed” (allegedly) as well on friday the 15th of Oct
nothing yet and its been 6 days
i know how long it takes to receive mail form austin so im starting to wonder if it will ever show up

ive been wearing my empty crossbreed supertuck around for almost two weeks now -
at least i know it will be broken in by the time my license arrives (but hopefully not worn out)

I GOT IT. Finally came in the mail. I am now an official CHL holder. And the picture isn't all that bad either. Lol. Now the rest of the learning can begin and continue. Also, the waiting has helped out because it gave me time to let the wife read and get some info on her own and now is adjusted to the idea of me carrying. Anyway, just wanted to let y'all know it was finally here.

i promptly put the license in my wallet and put on my supertuck and my SA 5” stainless milspec 1911a1
when my wife came home from lunch she had no idea i was carrying at all (tucked in white dress shirt and slacks)

I guess ill Start mine...

Oct 15 - Application filled out, paid, submitted online.
Oct 16 - CHL class taken.
Oct 18 - Document Mailed to DPS.

Its currently Oct 25, an entire week after mailing to DPS, and they still haven't said whether or not its been recieved...
License Status: Application processed online. Concealed Handgun Licensing is waiting on the receipt of required materials. Once the application and materials have been received by Concealed Handgun Licensing and processing has begun, a more detailed status will appear on this page.

It seems as tho the majority of people had their statuses change a lot sooner than this (say 2-3 days).
I guess should i just relax and wait a bit....

Not really. It just feels that way when you're the one waiting.

When I mailed mine in the end of May, it took 3 weeks after the post office said they got it before it showed up on line. I still had plastic in hand 40 days after they got the package.

Thanks Pawpaw . 40 days is pretty darn good! That was def a little confidence booster.

In the mail, wait is drawing to an end. Not too bad 36 days mailbox to mailbox.
