Been lurking around here for awhile. Figured I would atleast get an account setup. Recent events in life have spured me to look into doing something that I have always wanted to do. From what I have seen this forum looks like a good resource of information.
This is me.
Age - 31
Gender - Male
Profession/school status - High School, Technical Certs in Networking.
Marital status - Married with Son
Years CHL - None Yet, Planning on it
Carry guns/equipment - None Yet. Will be a Beretta 92 unless some one can come up withs a really strong reason to try something diffrent.

I have been remiss in posting to the "Introduce Yourself" thread. My humble apologies.
The hard data:
Male
Mid-forties
Married
3 great kids
College grad
Was in high-tech sales, but was sidelined by a major stroke 4 years ago
Awaiting CHL (see signature) - The wait is killing me!
I'll carry a Glock 19 in a Blackhawk CQC w/SERPA retention holster
I am fairly new to handguns. After I got my G19, it was actually a cop that inspired me to get my CHL. Then I had the uphill battle with my Mrs. She still thinks I'm nuts, but heck I'm disabled and would'nt stand a chance against a BG w/nothing. That's ok though. I said to her the other night, "I'll have you carrying in less than a year!" She didn't say anything - a good sign that she may be warming up to this.
Thank you all for this great forum and loads of great info. Be safe. Be smart.
Regards!

Welcome to all of the new people that have signed on. We're glad to have you.
For those that haven't recieved your plastic yet, use this time to practice your method of carry at home. As a long time member of this forum has in his signature, carry 24/7 or guess right. This means at home as well. This is a great time to see what works best for you.
We look forward to your input on the forum and hope you can learn from some of us here.
