Well I'm sure everyone is tired of 1911 vs. 1911 threads but both of these guns are similarly priced and have similar features.
Im leaning towards the springer atm, a lot of that reason is because i have heard too many horror stories about the Kimber Customer service and nothing but great things about Springfield's.

I had a run in with Kimber's customer service a few months ago. In the end they wound up taking care of the issue and redeemed themselves. In retrospect it was almost like the guy I worked with was just having a bad day the first time we spoke.
Springfield's customer service has been first rate at every time I have spoken to them, however. I just spoke with Deb at the custom shop on Friday and she couldn't be nicer to work with.

Personally, I'd lean toward the TRP even though I own a very nice early Kimber. My bias comes from a dislike of Kimber's Series II firing-pin block but, that may not be a significant issue to you. My only caution on the TRP is the sights. For a couple years, it seems like nearly every TRP I came across had a tendency to shoot low and needed a taller rear-sight. I've been told this issue has long since been resolved.
