I need a Wilson Combat ambidextrous thumb safety and beavertail installed in the DFW area that doesn’t have a years wait. Any suggestions?

It is not to hard to do yourself.

I don’t mind working on someone else’s gun, but not mine. I stopped trying to be a gunsmith a king time ago. Thanks.

I don't have experience with 1911 academy but there were some posts about them a while back and were all positive. They are in mckinney. Might be worth a call.

I’m doing much better. Thanks. My son just got over Covid, but he is doing better now.

I can install those. However, some 1911 safety lever parts are not 100% direct fit and may need some filing to fit.
