Yesterday, i received a letter from the Texas Department of Health and Human Services that started with "our records show that your written consent for ImmTra2 participation was received." My Client ID for that system was provided. To the best of my recollection, I never provided such written consent. I called the listed phone number and the representative who answered provided several interesting pieces of information.

According to her, the consent form that I signed to receive my Covid vaccine in 2020 contained the language to enroll me in ImmTrack2. In fact, she said, ALL vaccines administered in the State of Texas will now require that the receiver sign to allow the data be sent to ImmTrak2. Get a flu shot? You are going to be part of the system. Edit to include the point that the representative said that one can opt out of ImmTrak2 but that the data is retained for 5 years or the end of the executive declared emergency, whichever is longer.

By chance, I had a visit with my regular doctor on Wednesday. That office gave me a form to sign allow them to send my pass immunization information to the State of Texas and that if I was uncomfortable with doing that, I could draw a line across the form and write "declined" along the line and that no action would be taken.

The pamphlet included with the letter was troubling to me. I know that the mandate for ImmTrac was originally any child under the age of 18. In the pamphlet, there were several statements with "without your parents consent" and "without your parents knowledge." It is my understanding that minors (children under 21 years of age) must have their parents' consent for immunizations. There was also a reference to IX clinics which would provide immunizations without parental consent. With my tin foil hat firmly in place, the first blush of this looks like a State of Texas sponsored vaccine mandate tool that goes far beyond Covid I'm interested in insight from anyone who has better intelligence on this topic.

I will never take another vaccine, flu, or any other. I did not take the covid jab. I'm a pureblood.

I don't have any information on your post. But yesterday I had a follow up with my back doctor. I had steroid injections about a month back. So yesterdays visit was just a quick how are you doing thing. Anyway I sign in at the front desk and the girl gives me a electronic pad to answer some questions. They started out innocent enough.. How was your pain, can you walk, climb stairs etc... Then it went into how was my sleep, how was I feeling, was I depressed... I started to get irritated about some of the questions so I went back up and said I was not comfortable answering these.. She was like the doctor needs that info to see you... So I set back down and kept going... Then it started asking if I was sexually abused as a child... I stopped right there and walked back to the desk and handed it to her and said NO, I will NOT be answering these questions.... She tried again to get me to fill it out and I refused. She was like you can't see the doctor unless you fill it out.. So I handed her my debit card and said give me back my payment now. Short version is that I did get to see the doctor and he was like I overheard some of what was going on and I told him that is was none of his business about if I was raped as a kid... (I wasn't by the way). He tried to justify it by saying that if they were prescribing opioids then a psychological profile was needed.. I'm like well.. you didnt prescribe any and I'm just fine..... so lets do this visit... 5 minutes later I was walking out the door....
Oh, and even though I wasn't carrying, I should have been and walked right past their stupid 8.5 x 11 printed 30.06 in the window....

Don't give in and don't let them force you do do anything. I've crossed out sections before when going to the hospital for surgery. No you can't video tape me.. etc.... Throws them every time.....

Do you have smoke detectors in your home... Do you have firearms in your home... I told her it was none of her business... She didnt like that at all and as she was walking out she quipped Il'll just say yes to these questions....

It's crazy and getting worse...

I have not yet decided on the correct answer to these questions. The way I see it, I have three options. I can answer honestly and not worry about who knows what about me. I can answer as you did that it is none of their business. Or, I can answer with the bane of modern journalism - disinformation. Just lie and say no. I vary between them based on my mood at the time since I haven't decided which is the right way to go.

Heinlein said that when someone begins a sentence with "I know it is none of my business but," the appropriate punctuation is to put a period after the but, using as much force as needed to do so. That might apply to these questions.

I thought about your three options in regard to ImmaTrak2 as well. 1) Who cares who knows whether what my vaccination history is? 2)I"m going to formally request removal and deny transmission at every organization where I might take a vaccine. Typically, Medicare will not allow my doctor to deliver my immunizations but will cover them if I get them at a pharmacy. 3) there really isn't a "lie" option on the vaccines since it is a business to government relationship where i have no control. Instead, I could go on a campaign to see who much opposition I could get against Immatrak2. I think if people really think through what could be done with a fully populated data base, they might realize that this could be the immunization passport without any physical representation - like a card or an under-skin chip.
