If you are waiting for your CHL, you may want to call...

It's interesting that things always happen immediately after I call
DSP CHL division at (512) 424-7293.
I've sent in my new CHL application around early September. I waited for my PIN to arrive, and it didn't come. Then I called DSP the next day and the person told me it's being sent out that morning...
Ok, coincidence perhaps.
Now that I have my pin, I've been checking my status, which is always "processing application". Well, I decided to call DSP today just to see if there's more details to "processing application". And the DSP phone lady told me that it's being mailed out today.
Hmm, I'm beginning to think I should have called them sooner. Anyway, it could be coincidence that my application status just changed between the time it took me to browse the web status page and my phone call.
But it's hard for me to believe. So maybe if you are close to 60 days, you may want to give DSP a call.
