Firearm events & trainings needed to list on a site

Hi All,

As I mentioned in a previous post, I recently started a group dedicated to Target & Action Shooting in D/FW area.

Site: http://targetshooting.meetup.com/27/?gj=sj5

I'd like to start placing more events on the calendar. These can include:
-Trainings (CHL, pistol, rifle, etc.)
-Courses/seminars
-Ranges to visit
-Special events at a particular gun store
-Other

If you know of an event, let me know and I'll most likely post it. If you offer the training or event, this is your chance for free advertising. You'll get free publicity and I get to add more events to our calendar as a draw for new members.

Also, if you work at a store or range, and would like to offer my members a discount on your classes or store pricing, I'd be happy to list you as a "friend of the Group", where members would be able to have a special benefit to join, and you'll get added business and marketing.

Please PM me through this site with all the details.

My primary goal, along with having a great group for current shooters, is to bring NEW people into the sport.

Thank you!

Hey guys - kinda surprised I haven't had more people want to post events. C'mon - there have got to be instructors out there that would love free PR for their courses! :grin:

Thanks Paladin.

I want to be respectful of the instructors and not just go posting everything I can find all over our calendar though.

There are two types of events on the calendar for my group;

-actual group events that I/my members will be attending (such as our trip to the gun range on the 27th);

-and FYI postings where I simply list an externally hosted event in order to both provide my membership with firearms related classes/events and at the same time help give ranges/courses/instructors some free publicity to a targeted audience.
