Compact vs Sub-Compact Carry

OK folks... Newbie here. I'm new to concealed carry but not guns. I have a Glock 23 and 27 and have always assumed the 27 sub-compact would be the preference for carry. I'm a few weeks from getting the plastic in hand so I carry IWB around the house to get use to the new feel.
I've noticed that the Compact hides about the same as the Sub and frankly, the Compact is a superior gun in terms of accuracy and hand control. The only advantage with the sub appears to be carry weight and possibly pocket carry.
I can understand the on-duty requirement for a sub as backup or keeping the sub as a pocket/fannypack purpose. My wife is former LEO so we opted for the Glock 40 family with the sub as backup. The interchangability of Mags from Compact to Sub sealed the decision to go Glock. The reliability rep also was key.
I'm almost thinking full size for IWB since the printing doesn't seem to matter whether its sub or compact. They are both the same. You can't beat a larger pistol for accuracy.
Does it all boil down to weight at the end of the day???
