Another off topic thread, but I couldn't help it. Many of you know that my wife is pregnant with our second child. We found out today that it's a girl. My boy will have a little sister to look after.
We still have 20 weeks to go, but we are so excited. :D :D :D
What say you dads about having a girl? What tips or wisdom can you pass down.
Is it bad form to meet her first boyfriend while cleaning an AK?

I say it will be easier to teach her how to shoot...all of that macho stuff will not confuse things.
I like the idea of meeting the first boyfriend with a rifle in hand...symbolism is a powerful form of communication!

Just take him quietly off to the side and whisper That's my little girl, I love her dearly and would do anything to protect her, even go back to prison!

Ah! A little girl.
Prepare to loose any contol you may have thought you had in that household.
Soon you will be hearing these words:
I love you Dad. I need money for_____.
I love you Dad. May I go to ________
I love you Dad. Fill in the blank.
Trust me. She will get what she wants.
Prepare thyself, my son.

Just memorize a classic line from the movie "
Clueless":
"Anything happens to my daughter, I got a .45 and a shovel, I doubt anybody would miss you."

Ahhh, so your the young man taking my daughter out tonight...
Yes sir...
You can call me Commander Stevie-D, son...
See, I have this idea that I'm going to have this room off the front entry that will be adorned with all sorts of "I love me" military trinkets I collected over the years while I was in the service...Nice big desk, cabinets full of pictures and stuff
I want to especially have this desk piece thats this big K-bar blade stuck into a piece of wood, like its supposed to be there...
Visualization is key to establishing the correct attitude in future suitors...Then when they get approval, and get to know me, there is a little bit more respect for the process of dating my little girl...
I love this stuff!!!

I named my daughter (6 months old) with the initials of AK... so it should be HER cleaning the evil black rifle when the boy shows up. I will have to be cleaning something bigger / better I guess.

So far, I know of two babies born that did not match the ultrasound. One was in my wife's side...ultrasound indicated hemale, a shemale came out. Cutest durn girl in blue you ever saw.
