There isn't anything wrong with this guy, but I might question the sanity of anyone that would actually cough up the $8000 for it.
I've got a pretty black one looks simular to that one that I would happily sell at half that price.

While the Billie is definitely a desireable 92, I would have to agree this price is WAAAY off base. AND, it has no tags on it. Prices on these have gone up considerably in the past year but sell for $1200-$2000 regularly.
Prices are about the same for the Beretta Stock and Combat models as well as the STEEL model.

I just checked - as of right now (10/20/07, 10:48 PM) there's a NIB Billennium listed on Gunbroker with a "Buy Now" price of $2100 . . .
IIRC, in addition to having the safety in the proper place, the Billennium has a steel frame, rather than the standard 92's alloy frame. (I also read that the extra weight disqualifies it from one of the gun games - IDPA maybe???)
If I could find a sucker - uhhh, I mean buyer - willing to pay ~4x the market price, I'd take his money, too.

But if he realistically wants to sell it then he needs to come way down. No one is going to shell ou that kind of cash without research first. I have sold guns for a couple hundred more than they were worth retail but not 4-8x their worth. Maybe its a "yeah Honey i will sell it, listed it right now." kinda deal?
