Avoid J & G Sales for any purchases, horrid company

I ordered a CZ-52 pistol from them on Monday. I faxed the FFL and got confirmation. The said they never got it. Called and they said it would ship Tuesday. Got another email on Monday that they did not get the FFL, faxed again. They never got it. Fax and emailed today, and a pre-pubecent sounding boy answered and said we can't get it to you until Monday. 26 bucks for overnight shipping, and you are lucky to get it in a week. I told them where to go, and will order elsewhere from now on.

What does "got confirmation" mean?

It does not sound like a "horrid" company to me. Sounds like a wrong fax number or miscommunication.

I've had good luck with JG Sales and would use them again. Sounds like a miscommunication thing or a bad fax number, but I don't think this is enough to trash the whole outfit.

Also have had good luck dealing with J&G.

Sorry you had a problem, but trashing the company is a bit overboard.

Yes, but you can't scan them and send as an email attachment. Because in ATF logic, one is an electronic facsimile of the original, but the other is an electronic facsimile of the original.

I've also had good results on the 4 orders I've made with J&G.. The 1 problem I did have with a bashed in mag bottom plate they immediately sent me a replacement.

I don't know that he is "trashing" them... If I had been treated thatw ay, I'd probably be complaining too...

If I was having that much trouble getting a fax through, I would have asked for whoever takes the faxes off the machine, then spoke to them as I showed it to be sending.

Other than repeatedly sending the fax, I just don't see that he did anything to solve the problem.

It's easier to modify a .jpg/.png than it is a piece of paper...

That is easily defeated by any number of simple means, so not really. There are a number of programs and/or services that send faxes via a computer modem or through sending a scan of a document electronically to a company that will then send them via telephone. Furthermore, a document can be scanned, edited, printed, then faxed with the same result.
