I love the cash and carry state of Texas. So far I have not needed to do any paperwork or FFL shipping of any kind because i have found FTF sales.

Now I am in a financial pinch and have interested buyers in other states... so some questions are...

1. FFL is nationally regulated, so do I have to be 21 to send a firearm?
2. If i get my mother to do it (since im 19) is that regulated at all?
3. Do I find pack a box and bring it to an FFL to send?
4. Do all FFL's send?
5. If not, where can i find one in the greater Houston area?
6. What kinds of rates can i expect?

I know a lot of people out there are also new to FFL shipping so hopefully this thread will help others as well!

Thanks in Advance

1. No.
2. No.
3. Yes. You can also ship through FedEx or UPS, but it's usually cheaper to use an FFL.
4. No.
5. http://www.gunbroker.com/User/DealerNetwork.asp
6. $25-35.

3) Just send it direct to the buyer's FFL.

Have the buyer's FFL send you a copy of his FFL before you send the gun.
