Ok,

I heard a nasty rumor, but have yet to test the theory out that those new Taurus PT 24/7's don't eat HP (jacketed or otherwise) ammo very well...

I am certainly going to test that theory soon as the holidays draw nearer...Lots of room to spread out up where we are going...

As of now, she's got some good FMJ loaded up...I know about the penetration risks...tisk tisk...

But when you buy some good HP ammo from a dealer...And the next week you go in and another associate tells you that stuff is not good to use...

Makes me feel like a goofball...

Thats why I air out my laundry sometimes...There is no such thing as a no-it-all, or dumb story or question in this business...

Because somebody else may have gone through the same thing, and was afraid to do so...

I'd be surprised if it didn't eat HP ammo. Sure It may like some better than others, and still may have trouble feeding every brand. Most will undoubtedly function just fine.

FWIW I've had two Taurus hanguns. Both were good guns and reliably digested everything. Of course one was a revolver.

Everything I've heard about the 24/7 series of pistols say they are reliable with hollow points. Try several brands and go with the one that runs best in your particular gun.

Yeah, I agree with y'all on this...

Its just frustrating to get conflicting info, and materials, from one source...
