I think he is just trying to help everyone by pointing out free items he has found and making conversation at the same time maybe.

Not exactly spam just a heads up kinda guy.

If we are going to discuss about an item or asks for reviews from users, that sounds fair. But just posting miscellaneous items with prices and numbers and codes, should be in the Market Area under accessories for folks looking for that info. If there is no discussion behind it then it is just an ad.

I agree...Its not so much a spam issue, its like someone else said...

They found some interesting deals and services, and wanted to let everyone know about it...

I don't think there is any harm in this, it maybe just got posted in the wrong part of the forum...

Thats when the Mod Squad needs to step in and move it to the appropriate section in the forum...And sometimes they don't see it, so its up to each of us to drop a note to one of them so they can review it...

No big deal...

My previous reply was just a joke but seriously, search for posts from lawrnk. They do look very spammy.

On a related note I think they need to update the laws to include spam as a justifiable reason for deadly force

Even this thread is probably on the wrong sub forum. We have been nailed with true spam here, but the moderators are normally real fast to catch it. I agree that spammers should be able to be shot on sight.

The URL's in questions have "id's" associated with them. This indicates reseller / affiliate / get's something for sales from these referrels.

SPAM in my opinion.....

His account might have been hijacked; it's common for people with easy-to-guess passwords. Spammers will hijack an account with a high postcount because they are less likely to get noticed off the bat.

I agree. He isn't selling anything. The mods will keep an eye on it, but it looks OK for now.

Thanks for the "heads-up", guys! I am locking this thread now. If you see anything else that concerns you, please PM one of the mods.
