Ok, I've been in a debate that concerns body armor.I dont remember my CHL instructor telling us we couldnt buy/wear body armor in TX.

The only law I could find on it was TX PC46.041 which states that a felon cannot posses metal/body armor. So what is the law pertaining to non-felons?Legal or illegal? If anyone can point me in the right direction to the PC that states that it is legal or illegal I'd appreciate it.I've looked on the official TX Penal Code site and it only came up with PC46.041 but its highly possible that I could have missed it.

That is all there is. Perfectly legal for the law-abiding.

Generally laws PROSCRIBE conduct; the law does not generally state what conduct is allowed. If not proscribed, conduct is legal.

I understand why felons cannot wear it, but find it ironic since most felons live in areas where they probably need it every day
