Mailed my CHL information on Nov 8 ( USPS, Registered with Return receipt) and have started the waiting game.
Age: 45
Gender: M
Profession: Project Manager/Telecommunications industry
Marital status: M/21 yrs
1M/1F children
Years CHL: Hopefully 2007
Texas State Representative House District: Michael C. Burgess

Welcome Larry.
Congratulations to you on the impending arrival of your CHL. I believe you will find it a great comfort to be able to legally carry your choice of protection. It may seem a little strange at first and you may feel self conscious for a little while. But that doesn't last long.
Before long you will get dressed in the morning and put on your concealed handgun and withing 5 or 10 minutes you will just forget you are wearing it. And on those rare occasions when you won't be able to carry (as traveling on commercial flights) you will feel plum naked. I know I sure do.

I've learned a lot about tx CHL by reading this forum,and i'm sure i will not be as prone to make an error in judgement that could jeopardise my freedom or license to carry.I carry RIA 1911 compact/SA XD 9 /SigPro 2022 40 S&W/Glock 17 9mm/SA 1911-A1 45acp/but not all at the same time
