George R. Brown Convention Center?

I was wondering if the George R. Brown Convention Center would be off limits for carry during a cheerleading competition. Would it fall under the "sporting event" clause? It's not school sponsored; they are not professional athletes; and I don't think there are any 30.06 signs.

If it is a High School cheerleading competition I would bet it falls under the school sponsored activity thing and thus would be off limits. Is there professional cheerleading (other than at sporting events)?

Definitely not a school sponsored event. These are different gyms competing against each other. Once in a great while a high school team shows up to compete but it's not a school based event.

If it is not a school event and they are not competing for money, I don't believe it would be off-limits for CHLs.
