Houston AK-47 Manufacturer stops selling guns? (Armory USA)

Global Trades/Armory USA is no longer selling receivers. I went there a a month ago and you could buy them for 80 bucks. I understood they made some really fine AK clones and krinkovs. Anyone know what happened?

If you look at the info for Elk River Tool and Die, the info is the same as for Armory USA, so it could be just corporate restructuring or a possible change of ownership.
One of Armory's employees sets up at the local shows, so an answer should be available from him.

Pure uninformed speculation, if someone is selling something really cheap, they're probably not making enough profit to continue in business. Also, the dollar is getting weak and imported products are going to cost more.

Maybe I'm missing your point. Of course it's uninformed. That's why I said I would ask one of their employees. If I was correctly informed, the owner of Armory USA owns the factory in Europe where their components are manufactured, so while raw materials may increase, it's not like they have to bargain with their suppliers.
And their products were never cheap. Their AK's were typically $250-$300 more than a similar rifle from Century. Their receivers are stamped from heavier stock and are a quality build from the ground up.
I simply followed the link from the Global Trades website to the new company and saw that it was the same address and the same phone numbers.
That's why I said it may only be a change in corporate structure or ownership.

While at the Pasadena ahow, I inquired and was told it was simply a change of ownership.
It was also suggested that some employees were 'weeded' out in the process and the end result should be a better product than before.
They will continue offering rifles with possibly a better selection than previously available.
I see no reason to worry.
