Is your question worded the way you intended? If it's a state that has reciprocity with TX then all you need is a TX license.

If you want to get non-resident permits from states that do NOT have reciprocity with TX then you should go to http://www.packing.org and select the state you want and read their laws.

I was under the impression that you had to actively apply to the recipricol state and obtain a physical license from that state.

Thlnking about what your explanation implies makes better sense than having to keep up with a buch of other licenses.
