Alessi Bodyguard

About a yr ago I started looking for a shoulder rig that had wider straps than my Miami Classic. I find myself liking shoulder carry better & better all the time.
The one I really counted as my first choice was Lou Alessi's Bodyguard. He had a 2 yr waighting list & said that time frame was AT LEAST 2 yrs.
Needless to say I decided to look for a 2nd choice. Well, about a month ago I ran across the web site for Lightening Arms in Oragon.
On their directory they said Alessi holsters. I looked & sure enough they had ONE for my Kimber Pro CDP.
Man it is comfortable.

Installed, near & dear to my heart.

Like all my rigs, it covers neatly & easily w/ a western vest compliments of Momma.

And a look underneath. Awfully bad picture w/ a mirror.

Wow, that's a good looking rig, LT. Happy to see you've got plenty of reloads there too. Congrats on the good find!

Have Mrs. LT take a photo of your back. Does those straps a just for across your back/shoulders?

They do not adjust wider across the back. If you look at the top photo you can see the center "O" ring. If a guy your size wanted to he could cut the brads off there & easily replace that portion w/ a longer one to make it wider.

First thing you have to do is find one.
I looked for a solid yr.

That's a nice setup.

Do they make tie downs for it?

Okay y'all gotta quit taking pictures in mirrors it's hurting my brain a lot :???: ,but that is a nice holster,i'm thinking it's right hand draw.I've considered getting a shoulder holster due to wheelchair it would be an easier draw,i would have to figure out appropriate attire to conceal even in teas heat.

If I may be so rude, Longtooth, how much did that rig set you back?

$205.00 at my door. If you want to wait 2yrs you can get one streight from Lou for 185.00 plus freight. Figure $10.00 so that is about as cheap as I figured I could get it.
