What a load of crap! This is a little too extreme for me to grasp.

Everybody has an opinion,we live in a State that gives notice to would be Robbers,thieves,rapists,if you steal from or threaten with bodily harm anybody in Texas a career change might be wise.You can't debate these peopleif they are robbed with a weapon,the problem isn't the individual that robbed them the problem to them is how was he able to get a weapon.By the way Joe horn did say stop or your dead and they didn't stop.

Without question the most liberal opinion on this case yet.

I wrote a response to their editorial board pointing out the factual and legal inaccuracies in this "editorial." Then I deleted it. Why bother to educate them on Texas law (TPC §9.42) when they don't care about the accuracy of their "editorial" and might use this knowledge to draw attention to our liberal laws on deadly force?

Two close friends of mine (both Moderators, so be careful ) are from California and they assure me that outside of the L.A. and San Francisco areas, Californians are about as conservative as Texans. So, two well-placed . . . naw, don't go there Charles, you're up for reelection.

Calling the editorial at the posted link a "liberal diatribe" doesn't even being to describe it . . . and that was before getting to the asinine Nazi references.

A while back, I read an article about someone being so far out of kilter in their view that they " . . . were not even wrong." It's as if someone proposed - seriously - that all four forces in physics could be unified by an arrangement of chicken feathers. Being "wrong" implies being capable of correction . . . but if something is so, so . . . absurd it doesn't even form a basis for rational debate, then it's "not even wrong."

This editorial fits that mold to a "T" . . . it's not just insane, it's unsane.

I really believe a person who genuinely believes this is mentally ill . . . or (and this is a possibility) is deliberately "trolling" for a heated response.

Last time I checked it isn't ILLEGAL to be a vigilante, and you still must answer for you actions

Breaking and entering and robbing, rape, murder IS ILLEGAL

I sometimes think taking the law into your own hands to protect/defend loved ones or what is rightfully yours from the scum of the earth (especially if there isn't a LEO present to protect me [which we all know is rare..they show up to clean up the mess])...I guess that makes me a vigilante....perhaps this country would be better off if more people were vigilante's

Pretty sure if he's stabbed by someone with a pencil, he would advocate banning all pencil.

Sometimes i feel people like this guy is far more dangerous than real criminals. Real criminals may hurt a few people and then they will be captured and stopped. People like this guy would let the just-captured criminals loose and go on hurting more innocent.

I agree. This individual believes that it's the criminal's environment that makes him behave this way. Many go as far as to advocate for the criminal and further victimize the original target. (Countless rape victims have been accused of "asking for it.)
Trying to talk to these types is an exercise in futility.

I used to spend a lot of time in mexafornia when I was a kid. Pretty state, but I'll never go back. They can keep it. What a load of crap.
