Some ding dong "smith" screwed up my sight install (looked like a monkey with a dremel did it and crooked) so i went to another guy to get it fixed. One thing led to another and 7 months later its done. Carbon Fiber thin panels, S&A Magwell custom arched and stippled then blended with thin grips. Matching stipple on top, cocking serrations and front strap. Front strap stippling was carried to the undercut. New beavertail blended and polished to perfect fit, rear of slide blended in better, lots of internal work to fire group and rails. Trigger guard profile thinned and interchangeable trigger installed. Looks nothing like the WW2 model it started as. He wants me to go shoot it, but i dont know if I can, will get all dirty.

Wow, that's one purdy 1911.

I won't show that to my Springfield (all stock), it'll turn red with envy.

Very Shiney! Those grips go well with the gun.

They were expensive but i like them a lot. They have a 3d effect in person.

Nice work. I've got a couple friends who have been raving about Todd's work for the last couple years. The work he has done for them has been impressive. I was particularly impressed with a rifle stock he repaired...I honestly didn't think it was the same stock when it came back from Todd's shop.
