Open Carry In Office

I Pastor a Church. I often remove my coat when I am working. 95% of the time I am alone. The Church secretary usually takes care of visitors and my wife is my personal secretary. Every so often a Church member will need to see me and on occasions has been let in before I can put my coat back on. I have never had anyone notice the weapon and have always been able to get my coat back on. But I am curious, is it legal to open carry in your office where you are the boss? According to the Church Constitution I am the President of the corporation.

Yes, it's absolutely legal, just as if it were your store or home.
That was one of the odd things about prohibiting concealed carry in churches -- open carry would have been legal for those classed as "owners" or "managers".

Correct. A person on his own premises or premises under his control is allowed to carry a handgun on or about his person. There is no restriction on loaded or unloaded, concealed or not, and no requirement to have a CHL.
Texas Penal Code
§46.02. Unlawful carrying weapons.
(a) A person commits an offense if he intentionally,
knowingly, or recklessly carries on or about his person a handgun,
illegal knife, or club.
§46.15. Nonapplicability.
(b) Section 46.02 does not apply to a person who:
(2) is on the person's own premises or premises under the
person's control
