This supporting hand, fingers-free strobing light effective?

In looking for a strobing (and full on/off) supporting hand light, I came across this one:
http://www.first-light-usa.com/tomahawkst.php
It is the "little brother" to a newer (non-strobing) supporting hand "fingersfree" light that is being advertised for more money.
Does anyone know about these "Tomahawk ST's"?
Are they bright enough in strobe mode to disorient a potential bad-guy for a few seconds? (120 lumens)
I'm looking for a supporting hand "fingers free" unit that will be effective and trouble free....if I want to support my gun hand, or if not, when I need it for low light recognition in self defense situations. If i don't want the guy to "knew exactly" where I am....I could hold it away from me and my firing hand.
Anyone know about these?
(and if "worthy", a place to get a little more discount on them?)
