The new Books & Video sub-forum created today has been deleted. It took only a few hours for someone to turn it into nothing more than free advertising for the authors and some retailers. That was hardly my goal in creating that sub-forum. It was intended to be a place for people to post reviews and recommendations, as well as a place to ask for recommendations.

It would have been a good resource, but it won't be back.

It’s a shame you had to close it down. I was looking forward to reviews from some of the folks on this forum.

It seems my luck with picking books/videos isn’t all that good. Some of the stuff I put hard earned money down on wasn’t worth a penny…let alone what I paid for it. It would have been nice to get a feel for what’s good out there, and why an individual thought it was worth buying.

Thanks for the effort though, it was a good idea…
