I started to copy this and paste in post but it is copyrighted material. This happened in an Atlanta suburb. Someone flagged down an off-duty officer (who was in uniform and driving a marked vehicle) because of an altercation between a man and women. The individual involved in altercation with the woman was an off-duty LEO in civilian clothes. No life-threatening wounds.

What has our "news" become nowadays? Instead of "news," it should be called "freak show."

In my stupid mind, "news" should be information that related to our life, not something some freak did.

That would eliminate the entertainment and sports sections of the newspaper and nightly news.

When cops shoot at each other it is news. I would want it known in my community if it happened here. I would also want to know what my civic leader planned on doing about it.

Funny, I neither read nor watch any of those. ;-)
