I picked up a Springfield XD Sub-Compact 9mm yesterday! It is sweet! I can't wait to try it out at the range! I'll post some pics and a range report. Just out of curiosity, where can one have night sights installed on this fine weapon? Anybody know?

Code, a friend of mine had to send his slide to Springfield to have them put on. I'm sure a good smith could, but I don't know what kind of tool is needed. I've never looked closely, so I don't know if they're the type you put in with a pusher type tool. Good luck. I know many people have been VERY pleased with the XD's since they came out! Look forward to the range report.

I have an XD 5" Tactical in 9mm that I have ran a least 2000 rounds thru with no adverse effects. I love this weapon and the way it fits my hand. I would buy anything that Springfield puts out.
