WooHooo!
Only a couple more months of messing with ATF approval and STI in Georgetown, Texas will be the sole US importer for the Slovakian K100.

STI specializes in tricked out 1911's, but the "K100"/GP6" is SO Hot and will be such a success, they added it to their lineup!
STI relamed their modified version GP6.

They are "smithing " the trigger and a couple other things for a hot competition pistol.
(It's already won many pretigeous competitions in Canada, just as a stock K100)

FINALLY!

I like STI... but uh... This is a big departure for them. I hope they can make it work.

I haven't heard about this one before - what is the big draw about the GP6?

Kalrog,
The reason STI is ineresting in selling K100s (GP6) a "mear 9mm" even though STI is a 45. Cal. 1911 gun manufacurer specialist in competion shooting is because the K100s have won presigious shooting competitions in the last year....in Canada and Europe, etc.

Nothing like Gold Medals in high profile world competitions to make people sit up and take notice.
(and STI will modify them in their factory to be even more amazing than stock K100s)
