I was just sitting here thinking. This can often be trouble. I have a few ideas for some threads but I need to develop them as I just received some new reading material.
The other day an old member, One-Eyed-Fat-Man reappeared after a long absence.
Anyone heard from Baytown lately?
I suppose my old friend TXinvestigator is busy working 'cause I have not seen any of his posts in awhile. He has not been silent as long as many old timers.
All you old Geezers, where are you? Anybody know?

I think the group of posters we have are wonderful group of folks. We all seem to get along better than ever. Where else can good folks find such a wealth of information, without being bullied or forced to deal with a bucket full of arrogence. One of the things I've noticed though is that some of my favorite posters don't seem to post as often as they used to. I think its because they have taken on moderation tasks and that ties them up.
Mr. Cotton has stated that one of the purposes of this board is help gather the non tradition CHLer, the Ladies and the younger folk. Traditionally the typical CHLer has been male and over 40. We are`seeing a lot more ladys, and young folk these days and thats a good thing. I think the fact they feel welcome has a lot to do with it.

If 55 and a member here since inception qualifies as "geezer", color me in.
Yea, I too wondered what happened to Baytown ...

I more than qualify based on age, but...can I be a "Coot" or "Codger" instead?
Never really liked "Geezer".

Hey! Who are we to judge? Coot or Codger it is as long as we get an accurate roll call.

We need to get .60 caliber pistols legalized. That way, we don't have to enter curmudgeondom until 60, not 50...right now, that's where the calibers stop. And it would personally make me feel better if the "senior" classification in IDPA didn't start at 50. Can't we just have a "mature" classification at 50, then "senior" at 65 or 70?
