And I thought my NAA .22 Magnum was SMALL...wow!

Edited to add: Yes, it is true that it can't be imported into the U.S. because there is no sporting exemption for it.

No sporting use? That's a
real mouse gun, and it is mouse season (or is it moose season? I always get them mixed up.) Guess that wouldn't be big enough for moose though.

Interesting - I've gotta tell you, my NAA doesn't really have any sporting use - other than for protection (last ditch gun) and possibly as a snake charmer (it's loaded with rat/snake-shot right now). So, this gun cannot be imported to the US - but what about if it was manufactured here, no issues with that? Just asking.

I don't think i'd be plunking down $6000.00 for a "toy" gun , bb guns fire faster than 270 mph.Beside you pull that thing on a bad guy and he would stand a better chance of dieing from laughing

Exactly right. To be imported, firearms must either have a "sporting purpose", or be collectible. On something with such a limited production run as this thing has, a "collectible" determination will be case-by-case.
There's no such restriction for domestic manufacture.
Someone in Michigan was prosecuted for having one of these and not registering it. (Michigan doesn't technically have "registration", but they have a mandatory "safety inspection" that amounts to the same thing.)
