Gander Mountain in Corsicana had two First Edition models. $699.95

I bought one from GM in Sherman this past Thurs. Was the last one they had.

Otherwise you just have to get lucky or place an order and wait.

Not DFW, but will ship. $400+shp

It is the S&W model. Whatever your preference, the S&W has the extended tang that prevents the slide biting the web of your shooting hand.

I didn't login to Gmail to follow your link.

But forgive a senile old man. What I see isn't always what I read.

I am interested in upgrading to the pps from a Taurus 24/7. Anyone know of a range in Dallas that has one to try out? or are they still too new. Also, looking for a good range for some weekend shooting, now that I've moved in from the country, I can now longer just "walk out back." Price is a little important, still a college student in Denton.

Thanks For the Help

The PPS is very hard to find right now. You'll either have to get lucky and show up at a gun shop that happens to have one in stock that day or order one and wait for it. I found mine at Gander Mountain in Sherman. It was they're last one. About a month ago I talked to Gander Mtn in Corsicana. They had three of them. You may want to give them a shout. Prices range from about $560 to $700.

As far as ranges in the Dallas area, I really like both DFW Gun Range http://www.dfwgun.com and Bullet Trap http://bullettrapinc.com/

Im very happy with the PPS. It's comfortable to shoot and accurate. And it's size makes it a perfect CCW for me.
