any other Sigma shooters out there?

I am looking to find some info on setting my sights on my S&W Sigma 40VE. I know the front sight is stationary but the rear appears to be able to adjust, but I don't want to just go whacking on it with a center punch.

Has anyone who owns this pistol had any luck moving the sights? All my shots are in a nice group, but off to the left a bit. I know part of it is due to the trigger weight, but I did the famous "Sigma Trigger Job" and that helped tremendously.

I have a 2x6 with leather scraps tacked to it to protect the gun finish.

Beyond that, use a brass punch that gives you good surface contact with the sight, and start with judicious taps.

Otherwise, a 'smith might have a sight pusher that would work on your Sigma.

My wifes Sigma 9 is the same way. I thought it was the trigger pull, but it does it for me too. Not that I consider myself a sniper with it, but it groups ok just to the left. What is this Sigma trigger job?

I used to own a Sigma SW40VE (pre-lock) and I simply borrowed a sight pusher from a gunsmith at a range to adjust it. The sigma trigger job can be accomplished by cutting a few coils off of a specific spring or by using a kit from wolf springs. I am reluctant to cut springs so I used the kit from wolf.

Mine also shoots little low and left but I can keep it in the 9 ring at close range.
