Well, I sent in my completed CHL package to the state on 2/19 and I'm still waiting for my PIN number. A few of my friends that sent theirs in at about the same time have already received their PIN numbers. I called the state and was informed that my application hadn't even been entered into the system. Apparently they're behind in getting the application entered and I was told to call again in two weeks (like from "Total Recall"). Frustrating!!

Just pull up a chair. There is no rhyme or reason to how long it takes them to do anything, as you will soon see.

Really, they should have given you a PIN by now though.

I sent my renewal in the same time and its not entered as 15 minutes ago, So I am going to lay down on the soft couch and take a nap for a while.

Sound medical advice. Wish I could do the same.

I am in the same boat cause I sent mine on Feb. 22nd and haven't recieved my PIN yet.

DPS signed for my application on 2/5. I sent an email on March 12, and my information wasn't entered in the system. I still do not have a PIN, and I will contact them again on April 5.

I've been in here so long, ya'll may have to poke me with a stick once awhile to make sure I'm still beathin'.

i have been in this stinkin waiting room since Feb 01. this must be the waiting room for the psychologist because i am losing my mind waiting!

I sent them an e-mail this morning and the application is still not entered................................

Still not entered as of 4/22

After reading some the posts here I think I deserve a public flogging.

I got my CHL when they first came started issuing them. It took about 60 days. By the time it expired, I was back into law enforcement, and decided I did not need it anymore. I never renewed it. What a dumb mistake. Now that I'm no longer in law enforcement I had to start all over. I registered/paid, took the class and sent my packet 2 weeks ago. Guess I'll join the waiting crowd and hope I get it before Christmas! I won't let this one expire.

Oh boy. This one makes me worry. I tend to have the worst luck possible with this kind of stuff. When I see someone who is waiting as long as you, it sets a new level for how long I have to wait.

Yall stop cheering me up. I sent mine in 2/26 and no pin either. I emailed once and it's not in ght system, that was a couple weeks ago.

I'm sort of like 03lightenrocks...you DON'T want to get behind me in the checkout lane.

I have emailed them three times now asking for a pin,just like their web sight told me to do. The last exchange of emails gave me the impression that good ole Simone was getting irritated at me for requesting a PIN. I don't know what to do now other than wait. I worry that she is power tripping down there and will intentionally scuttle apps. If something doesn't show up in the mail by the end of the week, I am calling them.
