What do Y'all know about the Colt All American 2000, I am not familiar with this one, I bought it nib and don't know if I should shoot it or put it up and keep it as is?
Actually I bought it and a Colt MK1V 80 nib and an old Combat Commander 70 in a satin nickel, I was going to do some work on the Commander then when I looked it up the book says the satin nickel gun's are "scarce". It has been shot but not much, I shot it today and it shoots Good.
Should I just put them up, or go on and shoot them?
I'm not a collector, I usually shoot every thing I own, I just don't want to screw up a gun that might be better left alone.

Tom,
Have you been enjoying the fruit of the vine tonight??
I know you and it seems a little funny that you would even mention putting a colt in the closet for keepsake!!! I think your intentions might be good.......but one of these Saturdays it would end up at the range. Don't torture yourself!! Shoot the gun. Ya know I am joking...I am sure it is a beautiful piece...but if it doesn't smell like Hoppes at the end of the day...it is just furniture!
