I think that's the first time I have ever seen a cable lock being used. I thought they were just for collecting.

thats the S & W 6904, that is the one the ususally stays put away, with Sig, Glock, Walther and H & K for brothers, the Smith is like the red headed step child in the bunch.

They're pretty good for locking gates too. Especially the ones with the gun manufacturer's logo prominently displayed.
